Mandatory Coaches Meeting
All coaches will need to be at Northside School for a coaches meeting designed to deliver rosters, supply equipment, answer questions, form practice schedules, and to create a very positive start for this years coaching staff.

Time: 7pm

Date: Friday July 23rd

Location: Northside School, look for the shade and the soccer equipment

All coaches unable to attend should make the alternate date/location.

Second coaches meeting: Sunday, July 25th

This second coaches meeting will be held at Creekside School in Georgetown.

Recreation Coach Training Requirements

Kids want to learn and have fun. We believe by providing our coaches with a season's worth of session plans and training for how to set up and deliver those session plans, everyone involved will have more fun and feel successful.

Gold Nugget Soccer club provides coach training clinics, delivered by professional coaches. These courses are focused on providing our coaches with age group appropriate, practical and useful training.

The following coach training requirements are expected for recreation teams - applicable to the Head Coach, and optional but highly encouraged for the Assistant Coach:

Coaches from our league's competitive club will deliver coach clinics which are designed to be simple and practical.

Each clinic is focused on providing coaches training relevant to the age group they

will be coaching.

Each clinic is three hours on the field. At the beginning of the clinic, you will receive a packet of session plans that you can use all season. During the clinic, we will simply go through as many session plans as we can so you can see how to set them up and understand the coaching points. Wear cleats...this is active participation.
