Gold
Nugget Soccer Club is currently looking for new referees, adults as well
as youths, for the upcoming season, which starts in September.
To
become a Referee you must:
1) Be a minimum of 12 years of age and in the 7th grade.
2) You must attend all 4 evening classes and 1field class for an Entry
Level Referee Clinic.
3) You must be willing to study the "Laws of the Game" outside
of the class.
4) You must pass (75%) a 100 question entry level examination.
Prior
knowledge of Soccer is useful but not necessary. Youth
and adult referees are reimbursed for games that they referee.
2008
Referee Clinics
Training
is available at no cost through the El Dorado Youth Soccer League (EDYSL).
Each full course consists of four class days, with each class being 4
hours long and one evening field day.
