Procedure:
To be eligible for either a Competitive (class 1) or Select (class 3)
team, each player must comply with the following:
- Attend at least 2 of the three Round 1 tryouts for their appropriate age group (see schedule below).
- Identified players from the Round
1 tryouts will be invited to either or both of the following
tryouts:
° Round 2 Tryout for the Competitive Team (see schedule below). Invited players are encouraged to attend at least 1 of 2 tryouts for that particular weekend. If a player is not offered a position, or declines an offer, then the player will automatically be given an invitation to the Final Round tryout. (only invited players come to this tryout)
° Final Round tryout for Select Team (see schedule below). Invited players must attempt to attend this tryout.(only invited players come to this tryout) - Players must wear safe, appropriate attire, and equipment. Do not wear Select/Competitive uniforms.
- Players must bring a ball of the correct size, and drinking water.
- All players must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to sign the necessary consent and medical authorization, as required by CYSA North.

Registration:
If you are
chosen for a select team your coach will work with you to fill out the
registration forms. You will not need to attend a registration event.
If you are not chosen for a Select team you should attend one of the registration events so you may register to be placed on a Recreational soccer team.
